'They would run back and forth in front of window, covering their heads with bedsheets'; Manju about her experience with Dileep in shooting set

Dileep and Manju Warrier were once a hit star couple. The two, who had acted together in superhit films such as 'Ee Puzhayum Kadannu' and 'Sallapam', got married in 1998. After getting married, Manju stayed away from films for several years. However, the star couple got divorced 17 years later.

Despite getting divorced, both Dileep and Manju have not made any statement in public blaming each other for their failed marriage. Although fans tried to find the reason behind the couple's divorce, both of them remained tight-lipped about it.

In a recent television program, Manju Warrier was seen sharing some of her old location memories with Dileep and Manoj K Jayan. "'Sallapam' was my first film as a heroine. It was a fun experience, especially with Dileepettan and Manojettan around. They used to scare me by telling me stories about ghosts. Maniyettan (Kalabhavan Mani) was also there in the sets. They told me that the guest house in Cheruthuruthy was haunted. I don't know whether it is true. These people used to put bedsheets on their heads and run back and forth in front of the window to scare me," Manju said.

Dileep and Manju Warrier got divorced in 2015. They have a daughter named Meenakshi. Meanwhile, Manju Warrier is currently active in films. She last appeared in 'Thunivu' alongside Ajith.
